COLUMBIA, SC (October 4, 2022) – An Upstate man, who started playing the Lottery a year ago, has won $200,000.
Not surprising, he says he’ll keep playing.
“It could happen again,” he said.
He’s going to buy a house with his winnings off a Palmetto Cash 5 with Power-Up ticket that he quick picked at the Sunoco Quick Mart at 1801 Laurens Rd. in Greenville for the August 23 drawing(6 - 16 - 18 - 25 - 34 Power-Up: 2).
“I almost had a heart attack,” he said of the big win.
For selling the claimed ticket, Sunoco Quick Mart in Greenville received a commission of $2,000.
The odds of winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 878,399.
