COLUMBIA, SC (May 4, 2023) – A home renovation is underway in the Midlands after the owner won $300,000 playing the Lottery.
“I wasn’t going to buy the ticket,” the winner admitted to lottery officials.
But she changed her mind and picked out a $10 scratch-off at Bob’s Food & Fuel at 4325 Mineral Springs Rd. in Lexington. She took the ticket home, where she scratched off the top prize win.
“I was very surprised,” she said.
Three top prizes of $300,000 remain in the Kings Ransom game at odds of 1 in 900,000.
Bobs Food & Fuel in Lexington received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
