COLUMBIA, SC (January 14, 2022) – A lottery ticket brought an Upstate couple to tears.
The husband scratched off a $375,000 win on a $10 ticket at the Garden Spot #4 on E. Lee Rd. in Taylors.
“Tears started rolling down my face,” he said when he saw how much he won.
When he got home, he handed the winning ticket to his wife and she had the same reaction.
“We were both crying,” he said.
The two plan to celebrate the win with a trip.
“We want to take a cruise,” the husband said.
The winner overcame odds of 1 in 960,000 to leave two top prizes of $375,000 remaining in the $10 Mighty Jumbo Bucks game.
Garden Spot #4 in Taylors received a commission of $3,750 for selling the claimed ticket.
