He won $300,000 on a scratch-off he picked out at the Little Giant #5 on Dave Lyle Blvd. in Rock Hill.
“I’m out of debt,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials after cashing in the top prize win.
He says the feeling was indescribable.
Now the winner, who did not wish to be identified, is committed to being smart with the cash but has considered one small splurge.
“Who knows, I might take a little vacation,” he said.
The winner overcame odds of 1 in 900,000 to win $300,000 in the $10 Instant Jackpot game. One more top prize remains.
