COLUMBIA, SC (September 9, 2020) – An Anderson lottery player says she bought a $10 lottery ticket that delivered a $250,000 blessing.
The winner, who did not wish to be identified, has paid off her car, paid off her house and given to her church.
She bought the winning 50X ticket at the Corner Stop on S. Murray Ave. in Anderson. The winner says she waited until she got to work to scratch the ticket, winning the last top prize in the game.
“I started shaking,” she told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
The Anderson player overcame odds of 1 in 810,000 to win $250,000 in the ($10) 50X game.
Corner Stop in Anderson received a commission of $2,500 for selling the claimed ticket.
