COLUMBIA, SC (January 22, 2021) – An Upstate lottery player says he’ll never forget the day he won $250,000.
“It was awesome,” he said.
He told lottery officials he stopped by his favorite spot to play the Lottery, the Williamston Curb Market on Greenville Dr. in Williamson, and bought a few scratch-offs. He scratched them sitting alone in his garage, and the last ticket he touched was the quarter-of-a-million dollar winner.
“It was perfect timing,” he added.
The Upstate man overcame odds of 1 in 675,000 to win $250,000 in the $10 Ca$htastic game. No more top prizes remain in the game.
Williamston Curb Market in Williamston received a commission of $2,500 for selling the claimed ticket.
