COLUMBIA, SC (November 3, 2023) – A Midlands woman put her plans on hold to go cash in a $300,000 winning lottery ticket.
She was on her way to Harbison Blvd. to do some shopping, when she stopped to fill up her car at the Shiv Mart on N. Main St. in Columbia. At the gas pump, she scratched a $10 ticket she bought inside the store.
“Oh, my,” she said when she saw the top prize was hers.
Forget shopping, she drove to the Lottery’s Claims Center on Assembly St. to cash in the winning ticket.
“It’s a blessing for me and those I blessed,” she said.
The Columbia player leaves one top prize of $300,000 in the Black Diamond Dazzler game at odds of 1 in 840,000.
Shiv Mart in Columbia received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
