COLUMBIA, SC (April 9, 2024) – We’re just days away from a Powerball® ticket worth $1 MILLION going unclaimed. The ticket was sold in the small town of Gable, SC, in Clarendon County and expires on Thursday.
If you played Powerball® at the Turbeville Exxon LLC at 7585 Myrtle Beach Hwy. in Gable in October, you should check your ticket. The ticket matched the five numbers 14, 16, 42, 48, 64 but missed the Powerball® number 14 drawn on Saturday, October 14.
The winning ticket must be claimed in person at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.
If the prize is not claimed, the $1 million winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
Players have 180 days from the
date of the drawing to claim their prizes. For complete information on claiming
prizes, visit sceducationlottery.com.
Net proceeds from every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education
Lottery are returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes,
retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
