“It scared me,” she said, surprised by a $200,000 win.
It was at night when she made the discovery. She paid $5 for the 5 Times Lucky ticket earlier that day at the Exxon at 430 E. Main St. in Andrews. With the kids in bed, she sat and scratched the ticket.
At first, she was unsure what to do with her newfound wealth. Now, after cashing in the ticket, she has some ideas.
“I’m thinking home improvements,” the winner said.
As of this release, two top prizes of $200,000 remain in the ($5) 5 Times Lucky game, at odds of 1 in 750,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, the Exxon in Andrews received a commission of $2,000.
